Singer-actress Kim Sejeong has signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment, joining the same agency as fellow former I.O.I member Jung Chaeyeon.
BH Entertainment announced on March 24 via an official press release that it has signed Kim Sejeong. The agency stated that it has officially brought on board the multi-talented artist, known for both her musicality and wide acting range.
Kim debuted in 2016 as a member of the girl group I.O.I, later continuing her career with gugudan and as a solo artist, steadily building a strong presence among K-pop fans. She further cemented her position as an artist with the release of her single “Solar System” late last year.
As an actress, Kim has taken on leading roles in numerous projects since her debut drama “School 2017.” She has received praise for her nuanced emotional performances and versatile acting in works such as “The Uncanny Counter,” “Business Proposal,” “Today’s Webtoon,” and most recently the historical drama “The Moon Flows Over This River.” Her performance earned her the Top Excellence Award at the 2025 MBC Drama Awards, marking her continued growth.
Beyond screen acting, Kim has also expanded her artistic scope into stage productions, appearing in the musical “Red Book” and the play “Temple,” consistently challenging herself across genres. Earlier this year, she successfully held a fan concert in Seoul to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut, followed by a global tour that included major cities across Asia, where she connected with fans at home and abroad.
