Rising group CORTIS has unveiled the tracklist for their second mini album GREENGREEN, building anticipation ahead of its release.
The group—comprised of Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Gunho—shared the full tracklist along with credit details via their official social media channels on April 13 at 9 p.m. Notably, all five members are credited across the album, reinforcing their identity as a “young creator crew.”
Following their debut release, CORTIS once again held a song camp in Los Angeles, where they collaboratively created most of the tracks. In particular, songs like “REDRED,” “ACAI,” “YOUNGCREATORCREW,” and “Wassup” stand out, with all members participating in the songwriting process.
The title track “REDRED” is already drawing strong interest. The song uses the symbolism of “GREEN” to represent the group’s aspirations and “RED” to reflect what they seek to guard against. It marks the beginning of CORTIS’ journey to break away from conventional standards and carve out their own path. Featuring distinctive lyrics crafted collectively by the members and an addictive melody, the track blends rough-textured synthesizers with repetitive, catchy rhythms to deliver a fresh sound.
The album’s B-sides further reflect the members’ personal experiences and tastes. “TNT” captures the group’s explosive energy, while “ACAI”—inspired by the acai bowls they ate daily during the album’s production—sparks curiosity with its unique concept. “YOUNGCREATORCREW” offers an honest take on the label often used to describe the group.
Accompanying the tracklist is a panoramic image conceptualized by the members themselves. Each visual element subtly references the album’s tracks: Juhun smiles while pronouncing the letter “T” for “TNT,” James holds a red beacon light symbolizing “REDRED,” Martin and Gunho’s handshake hints at “Wassup,” and Sunghyun’s pursed lips represent “Blue Lips.” Much like their previously released album photos, the concept emphasizes a raw, unfiltered aesthetic and introduces a new visual texture.
Meanwhile, CORTIS’ second mini album GREENGREEN is set for release on May 4.
