Commemorative stamps celebrating the 10th debut anniversary of Blackpink are set to be issued.
On Thursday, YG Entertainment announced that the stamps will be released on June 16 in collaboration with the Korea Post under the Ministry of Science and ICT.
Korea Post’s commemorative stamps are typically issued to honor nationally significant events or figures. While it is rare for living individuals—aside from the president—to be featured, Blackpink has become the first K-pop female artist to receive this distinction.
The commemorative stamp set will consist of 10 designs, capturing the group’s decade-long musical journey through images of their album covers. A special stamp package will also be released, featuring portraits of the members along with highlights from their major performances.
“Fans will be able to revisit BLACKPINK’s journey and musical moments in a new format,” YG said. “We hope this will become a meaningful keepsake for BLINKs around the world through the medium of stamps.”
Meanwhile, Blackpink recently garnered great attention with their third mini album DEADLINE.
