Group CORTIS has set a new personal best in first-week album sales with their second mini album.
According to Hanteo Chart on Monday, CORTIS sold a total of 2,313,291 copies of their second mini album “GREENGREEN” between May 4 and 10, topping the weekly album chart.
This marks more than a fivefold increase compared to the first-week sales of their debut mini album “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” (436,367 copies), released in September last year.
Among K-pop albums released this year, “GREENGREEN” ranks second in first-week sales, following BTS’s fifth full-length album “ARIRANG,” which recorded 4.17 million copies.
On its release day alone on May 4, “GREENGREEN” sold approximately 1.2 million copies, immediately earning “million-seller” status, and reached “double million-seller” status within just four days.
Meanwhile, CORTIS will unveil the music video for “ACAI,” a track from the new mini album, on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel at 9 p.m. on May 11. It marks their third music video release following “REDRED” and “TNT.”
