BTS member V has finally spoken out, making a direct appeal to fans after his privacy was repeatedly crossed.
On Wednesday, V took to the fan communication platform, Weverse, to address the ongoing invasion of his privacy. “I am incredibly grateful for how warmly you always welcome us, but if possible, I would really appreciate it if you could refrain from coming all the way to our hotel,” he wrote.
He went on to urge fans, saying, “I don’t really want to share the exact place where we are staying, and it also affects my condition for the performances, so I’m asking you as a favor.”
V added, “While we are on tour, the time we get to freely enjoy the country—like trying local restaurants and just walking down the streets—is so precious to us. Please be considerate of that!” he requested, asking fans for their broad understanding.
V is currently in the middle of the BTS world tour.
BTS kicked off the European leg of their ‘BTS WORLD TOUR “ARIRANG”’ on the 26 of last month at the Civitas Metropolitano in Madrid, Spain. Starting in Madrid, the tour will continue across five major European cities—including Brussels (Belgium), London (UK), Munich (Germany), and Paris (France)—for a total of 10 performances.
