K-pop boy group ATEEZ has claimed the No. 1 spot on the US Billboard 200 chart once again.
According to a chart preview published by Billboard on July 5, ATEEZ’ 14th mini album, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, released on June 26, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the magazine’s main albums chart.
The album earned a total of 228,000 equivalent album units, driven by 223,000 pure album sales and 5,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, among other metrics.
The achievement marks ATEEZ’s biggest first-week sales in the United States to date, surpassing the group’s previous personal best of 195,000 first-week units, set earlier this year with GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4, released in February.
With the new milestone, ATEEZ has now topped the Billboard 200 three times, following their second full-length album THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL, their 11th mini album GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2, and now GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5.
Meanwhile, ATEEZ has continued its U.S. promotions, including an appearance on NBC’s The Kelly Clarkson Show on July 1.
