Actor Gong Yoo is set to embark on his first Asia fan meeting tour since debut.
According to his agency SOOP, the tour will kick off in Yokohama, Japan on Oct. 4, followed by stops in six Asian cities: Bangkok, Jakarta, Macau, Manila and Seoul, under the title “2026 Gong Yoo Asia Fan Meeting Tour.”
As this marks Gong Yoo’s first Asia-wide fan meeting tour, the events are expected to offer a special opportunity for the actor to reflect on his past, present, and future together with fans.
On the actor‘s birthday, July 10, Gong Yoo shared a handwritten letter expressing his thoughts: “Thanks to all of you who have stayed with me for so long, I found myself naturally reflecting on the time we’ve shared,” he wrote. “That’s why I wanted to create a space this year where we can face those moments together. I hope we can add new chapters to the story we’ve built over the years. I’m always grateful.”
Meanwhile, Gong Yoo is set to star as the lead character Dong-gu in the upcoming Netflix series “Tantara,” scheduled for release later this year.
