K-pop girl group i‑dle has marked a new milestone in its global career with its first appearance on a major US talk show.
The group — Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua — appeared on the March 13 episode (local time) of The Kelly Clarkson Show on NBC, where they performed their digital single “Mono (Feat. skaiwater)” alongside British rapper skaiwater. Meeting American viewers on one of the country’s leading daytime talk shows, the appearance further raised anticipation for the group’s upcoming North American tour this summer.
The members drew attention as they stepped onto the stage dressed in sleek black semi-formal outfits. Their performance unfolded on a set designed with a grid-frame structure, where striking transitions between black-and-white and color visuals blended with their live vocals to amplify the song’s atmosphere.
“Mono (Feat. skaiwater)” delivers a message about focusing more deeply on one’s true essence, expressed through i-dle’s distinctive musical style. The track also achieved a triple crown on Korean terrestrial music shows — a first for one of the group’s digital singles. It has also enjoyed sustained popularity in the Chinese market, topping charts on Tencent Music Entertainment and the Korean music video chart on QQ Music for four consecutive weeks.
Meanwhile, i-dle will continue the fourth leg of their world tour on March 21 at IMPACT Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
