[헤럴드POP=장민혜 기자]가수 헨리가 국제백신연구소 홍보대사에 위촉된 소감을 전했다.
헨리는 9일 오후 자신의 인스타그램에 "Yesterday was a big day! I’m honored to be the new Goodwill Ambassador for the @ivi_friends. I’ve always been proud of the amazing work that my close friend @justinim does at the IVI. His work focuses on identifying the diseases that cause the most suffering in some of the most under-privileged parts of the world"라고 전했다.
이어 "The children in these areas need life-saving vaccines the most! I’m so happy that I can now take part in helping raise awareness for the important work that he and his colleagues are doing. I will do my best!"라고 덧붙였다.
앞서 헨리는 지난 8일 오후 서울대학교 연구공원에 있는 국제백신연구소 본부에서 홍보대사 위촉식을 갖고 전염병으로 고통받는 어린이 돕기에 나섰다.
